Microdermabrasion is one of the skin care techniques to have crossed over from Hollywood to the mainstream. It’s being advanced as an “instant facelift” – an effective alternative to costlier and more invasive procedures like plastic surgery, chemical peels and Botox injections. Recently, more and more men are trying it, instead of pursuing cosmetic surgery. Microdermabrasion is a procedure that exfoliates and removes the superficial layer of dry, dead skin cells. Your clients with fine lines, uneven pigmentation or clogged pores may benefit most from a series of microdermabrasion treatments.

Skin needling is also called microneedling therapy or collagen induction therapy. It is a minimally invasive, non surgical procedure for facial rejuvenation that involves the use of a microneedling device to create controlled skin injury.
As each fine needle punctures the skin, it creates a channel or micro-wound. This treatment leads to a reduction of scars and skin rejuvenation, with improved skin texture, firmness and hydration. If you want to take your facials to the next level, this class covers all of the theory and the practical time you need to build your skills.
Class Includes: Training Manual, Microneedling Textbook, Class Kit valued at $600, and Certificate. Quiz to be completed for Certification.

Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that consists of using a scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dulling, dead skin cells, in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.
Because dermaplaning is a quick procedure with few to no adverse effects, it has maintained strong popularity. Using a scalpel and a delicate touch, this is a great treatment to offer to clients who are pregnant or nursing who want a deep exfoliation, but are not allowed to use peeling agents on their skin. It is also a first choice for clients who have excess vellus hair on the skin, or for minimizing fine lines & wrinkles, and giving your clients an overall healthy glow.
Class Includes: Training Manual, Class Kit valued at $120, and Certificate. Quiz to be completed for Certification.
Prerequisite: Certified Esthetician or Facial Certification.
Models Required: 2 models in class.
Class Time: 7 hours.
Class Size: Maximum of 4 students.
